Let's practise

Take the whisper of the river,
The thunder of the sea,
The echo of the songbird,
The rustle of the tree,
The howling of the blizzard,
The purring of the cat,
The shudder of the earthquake,
The whistle of the gnat,
The rumble of the storm cloud,
The singing of the sun,
The music of the moonrise,
And mix them one by one,
Till all the notes are silver
And all the chords are gold,
Then give your gift of laughter
To the sick, the sad, the old.
