Without warning, Durga pounced! She attacked Hydra with her trusty sword and protective shield, but Hydra quickly wound her four necks tight around Durga's slim body. Using her wit, Durga made herself invisible and squeezed out of the demon's firm grasp. Suddenly, the snake monster swung round, swiping her tail around the dimly-lit cave, smashing the calcified stalactites into the fetid water below. Silently, Hydra slithered beneath the stinking surface and looked up to see the whereabouts of Durga.

After what seemed like an age, the image of Durga appeared, standing on the rim of the foul-smelling water's edge.
