Going on safari could soon be easy as hopping on the Bakerloo line, under plans unveiled today by London Zoo bosses. They want to build nine wooden cabins next to the lion enclosure which will allow visitors to stay overnight and fall asleep to the sound of roaring. Customers would enter the zoo at closing time and have a private tour with the keepers before returning to their accommodation, where dinner would be served. In an artist's impression of the proposed attraction, the huts appear to include a private wooden veranda and access to a communal garden with exotic plants and flowers.
